Capability statements and proposals
Zelexis designs capability statements, proposals and tender templates for established businesses that win work on paper. Each document is organised around how evaluators read, with relevant projects, compliance and the team easy to find, designed to match the rest of the brand and set up as templates the team can keep current.
A proposal, part by part.
The parts of a proposal for a professional or technical service, drawn in outline and labelled with what the reader needs from each.

Who it is for
This work suits established businesses that win contracts through capability statements, proposals and tenders, such as construction, engineering, technical and professional services businesses. It is most useful when the documents have been assembled over years, under deadline, and no longer match the business or each other.
How it works
We start with the work the business wants to win and how the buyers for that work assess suppliers. Then we review the existing documents, past tenders and proposals, and organise the content around what evaluators look for first: relevance, compliance, capability and value. The documents are designed to match the brand and built as templates the team can reuse.
What you receive
A capability statement, proposal and tender templates, a library of comparable projects written consistently and a short guide to keeping it all current. The team can then respond to the next opportunity starting from the best material the business has, rather than rebuilding it under deadline.
Questions about this service.
Straight answers, written to make sense on their own.
Still deciding?
You do not need a finished brief. We can talk through what you need and where to start.
What makes a good capability statement?
Relevance and clarity. A good capability statement summarises what the business does and for whom, shows three to five comparable projects, lists certifications, safety systems and insurances, and names who leads the work. Evaluators should find each of those in seconds, and the design should match the rest of the brand.
Can you work with our existing tender content?
Yes. Most businesses already have useful material spread across past tenders and proposals. Zelexis reviews it, keeps what is strong, rewrites what is unclear and organises it into a consistent library and templates, so future responses start from the best version rather than the most recent one.
Which software are the templates built in?
In the tools the team already uses, most often Microsoft Word or Google Docs, so documents can be updated without a designer. Where a business needs more control over layout, Zelexis can also provide designed versions for print and presentation.
